# Filters

There are several ways to filter out data for a chart. The first one is very effective at filtering data.

One more way is to filter out data using the legend, or excluding via tooltip. It is a very suitable during data exploration and it is temporary filtering which means that it is set during current chart viewing session and will be reset in feature chart browsing.
